As the official publicists and media coordinators for last month’s Golden Guitar Awards, Central Coast public relations, marketing and management firm, Brilliant Logic is riding high after what was a flawless 40th anniversary event.
Brilliant Logic has been operating on the Coast for over 21 years and was responsible for ensuring that January’s 40th Jayco CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia were truly memorable.
“It was amazing to lend our expertise to Australia’s longest running awards ceremony, especially in its 40th year,” said Louise Duff, Director of Brilliant Logic, whose efforts helped to achieve a sold-out venue for the event.
“Brilliant Logic has a strong connection to Australian country music and we were particularly proud to see the Central Coast well represented on the evening, with Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, Shane Nicholson, Kasey Chambers, Rod McCormack and Duncan Toombs all taking home top awards.”
The Brilliant Logic team was also trusted with the entire nomination and judging process for the awards, where they liaised with all artists, music labels and judges and oversaw the six-month judging period.
“This was a huge responsibility, considering there were almost 500 nominations to oversee, followed by two rounds of comprehensive judging,” said Brilliant Logic’s Katey Small, Nominational Judging Coordinator for the project.
“The most difficult part however, was not only knowing the Golden Guitar winners weeks prior to their announcement, but having the responsibility for keeping the secret and ensuring that the awards were a success,” she added.
Brilliant Logic has forged a solid reputation both locally and nationally, with clients including Australia’s largest free public event - Woolworths Carols in the Domain, as well as the Country Music Association of Australia and The Salvation Army’s Oasis Youth Support Network to name a few.
The agency also enjoys a number of Central Coast clients, including Regional Development Australia Central Coast, Central Coast Regional Development Corporation and JobsOnTheCoast.com.au, as well as recently completing projects with the Ken Duncan Group, Gosford Race Club and Dance @ Nikki Webster.
